On Roundabouts
On roundabouts you die. They are silly, don't seem to actually improve traffic (in fact, while perhaps the chance of you having to stop is less than at a stoplight, the chance of getting in an accident seems greatly increased). And if you're a pedestrian trying to cross, well then, run. And run fast.

You die on roundabouts? Great, just great.
I get lost when I see them! Because I usually walk on walking paths that are a bit too the side, and I forget how many spokes I've passed...
Roundabouts are the bane of humanity. It's just...counterintuitive.
I've gotten lost too, though usually only when it's dark. And they just suck and I go way out of my way to avoid them.
I work with traffic engineers who study these things (logically and analytically), and they're proven to be more efficient and safer than standard intersections. Regardless of Angelique's opinions on the matter.
